Molded from an actual aged wooden log.
The quickest and by far, the most dramatic addition to many habitat designs is with the addition of our super realistic décor and backgrounds. Not only just for looks, these realistic artificial logs will help your cold blooded pets to regulate their body temperature as they can climb or rest on them and, they also double as a hide, due to their hollow design.
Molded from an actual log and chosen for its beautiful features, this basking log can easily be positioned to suit your own custom design. Made from groundbreaking, safe, non toxic materials and able to be added to and withstand the harshest salt or freshwater aquariums as well as the hottest desert or rainforest terrariums. The coloration is actually crushed rocks and sand that is added to the actual piece during the manufacturing process for an amazingly realistic look that will never fade or lose its coloration.
Made in the USA by Universal Rocks, we know you will enjoy these quality basking logs and get years of use while decorating your custom habitat with the most realistic reptile décor around that is made to last for many years and can be washed, scrubbed and even power washed without causing damage to the surface.
While it needed some initial cleaning, this turned out to be the perfect thing to fill out my blue tongue skink's enclosure! He already loves climbing all over it and resting his head over the side while basking. Seems to be durable and holding up well so far. I love that I finally found something large enough to fill the space but light enough that I'm not worried about it falling on my skink if he were to burrow under it (which he probably will).
Great product
Its bigger than it looks and amazingly real and looks so good in our vivarium. Love that its so easy to wash and clean.
We have this log in out tank for our leopard gecko and he loves climbing all over it and hiding in the back. Very good idea guys :-)
