This substrate is specifically designed for biomes that can get very humid and stagnant. Terra Flora is designed to hold the perfect amount of water and allow any excess to pass directly through it into the HydroGrow drainage layer. Terra Flora provides excellent organic nutrition for your vivarium by creating necessary air pockets for root development and plant health. These air pockets are also necessary for the springtails and isopods to create a sustainable population in the vivarium.
This is a 36 quart bag (approximately 6 normal bags of Terra Flora). Great for large enclosures!
It is highly recommended to use the HydroGrow drainage layer with the Terra Flora.
